Anticipation

There is a chill in the air, the wind has begun to whisper the impending
the rush of blood goes cold,
searching around the space that expands, trapping lonliness,
its your own battle thats at war in your mind,

Anticipating every defeat,
fear has swept in, now it controls your, every mistake,
you've looped the moment in your senses, living in the wait
untill the secrets unfold, silently winter has set in
in the moments before the touch of reality
you cannot stop the speaking confusion,

The cold grows strong,
you've lost a million times in your thought,
anticipating every fall, every destruction,
you must survive the wait,
as anticipation kills,

slowly as the errors cascade,
you will lose all logic,
there will be the anticipation of a mistake,
the calculation of every muscle contraction,
the sequencing of moves,
everything will be forgotten,
in the seconds, instinct will take over
and what was anticipated was far from the moment
